How we build this
hypercars.fyi is a visual reference. Here's where the numbers come from, and the rules we hold ourselves to.
The figures
Power, top speed, 0–60 mph, weight and price are manufacturer-stated unless noted otherwise. Where a figure depends on fuel (E85 vs pump gas) or trim, we show the headline number and flag the context. Power is the sort key across the site and the figure we're most confident in; secondary specs are best-available and worth verifying against a spec sheet before quoting.
Status, honestly
A car's badge tells you where it really is: In production means delivering now; Limited is a capped run; Prototype means revealed but not yet delivering (often a 2027 date); One-off is a single bespoke build; Classic is an out-of-production legend. We don't dress a prototype up as something you can buy today.
What we don't do
We don't tie cars to named owners — that invites privacy problems and unverifiable claims. Provenance, where it matters, means production numbers and auction results, not "owned by [celebrity]." Prices are shown as launch or estimated figures, not live market values, which move too fast to state responsibly.
The visuals
Where we have a studio render of a car, we show it. Where we don't yet, a power-scaled silhouette stands in — drawn to a consistent style so the grid stays uniform. Photography is added car by car; nothing here is a stock-photo placeholder pretending to be the real thing.
